Shipping policy

We aim to ship all orders received via our online store within three business days of the order. We ship via USPS Priority Mail to ensure reliability of delivery as well as to keep the cost as low as possible for our customers. The shipping prices we charge reflect the current USPS Commercial Base Pricing rates we pay, and not a penny more.

If Shopify or any other service we use overcharges for shipping on an order, a refund for the overcharge amount will be issued back to you during fulfillment without any action needed by you (see Refund Policy). A hypothetical example of a shipping overcharge would be if you purchased four 1-pound bags of granola and were charged $8.15 twice (the price of a USPS Priority Mail Padded Flat-Rate Envelope, for a total of $16.30) instead of $13.20 (the price of a USPS Priority Mail Medium Flat-Rate Box). In this scenario, you would be issued a refund of $3.10 during fulfillment, and your order would be shipped in a medium flat-rate box. If you feel you have been overcharged and were not issued a refund for the amount by which you were overcharged before the order was fulfilled, please send an email to eat@earthlingfood.company and we will make it right.

Although we make an effort to ship all orders in a timely manner, we are not obligated to ship within the above-mentioned timeframe, nor are you entitled to any compensation if we fail to meet this expectation. While we do our best to beat these expectations and ship most orders within one or two business days, circumstances may arise that prevent us from fulfilling some orders within three business days.

We reserve the right to change this policy at any time and without notice, including but not limited to changes to the shipping carriers, rates, or services.
